RICHMOND, Va. -- NASA's Perseverance rover is traveling to Mars, and so is Richmond beer.
The rocket launched from Florida's Kennedy Space Center on Thursday, along with nearly 11-million names stenciled onto small squares on the space craft.
Each chip is only the size of a fingernail and the names were stenciled on by an electron beam - and RVA Beer Blog is one of them.
It's an Instagram account dedicated to talking and teaching about craft brews in the city.
The Perseverance rover has a long journey ahead and is expected to land on Mars in February.
