The rooms feature "larger-than-life painted details evocative of eight artist’s style and story," a Quirk spokesperson shared. "The murals transform the guest rooms into charming destinations for art enthusiasts or anyone looking to add a slice of local whimsy to their Richmond getaway, while complementing the hotel’s art-studded common spaces and gallery."
Featured artists include Sami Cronk, Campfire & Co., Elizabeth Graeber, Emily Herr, Brooke Inman, Matt Lively, Chris Milk, and Zeh Palito.
“Art has always been so important and abundant throughout the hotel,” Whitney Dang, Quirk Hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing, said. “We are so lucky to be able to draw from the rich pool of local talent in order to create these one-of-a-kind guest rooms.”
Quirk will donate portions of the room-booking revenue to the Visual Arts Center of Richmond's Make Space initiative.

Quirk is hosting a meet-the-artists event Thursday, March 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.
