POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. -- A Powhatan man said he was humbled and grateful to his neighbors after they saved his life while he was out on a bicycle ride.
Stan Edwards went into cardiac arrest while out for a ride on September 9.
Bystanders Ann Edwards, Chris Myers, and Bob LaRue came to his aid administering CPR after calling for help.
The Powhatan County Board of Supervisors honored those three good Samaritans Monday night for working together to save Edwards' life.
Edward said he could not express how grateful he was for their efforts and encouraged everyone to cherish every moment in life.
