RICHMOND, Va. -- More than 28,000 Dominion Energy customers in Central Virginia were without power at 9:15 a.m., according to the power company.
Most of the outages were reported in Chesterfield, Henrico, and Dinwiddie counties and the cities of Richmond and Petersburg.

More than 276,000 Dominion customers were without power in Hampton Roads and Southeast Virginia and more than 23,000 are without power in the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck.
7:25 a.m.
More than 18,000 Dominion Energy customers in Central Virginia were without power at 7:25 a.m., according to the power company.
Most of the outages were reported in Chesterfield County, Powhatan County, and Hopewell.
More than 200,000 Dominion customers were without power in Hampton Roads and Southeast Virginia.
Reminder: Stay at least 30-feet away from downed lines. And always assume they are energized.
