PETERSBURG, Va. -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a person wounded in Petersburg Saturday night.
Petersburg Police officials posted on Twitter just after 10:15 p.m. that officers were investigating at shooting in the 700 block of Independence Avenue.
"The victim is being transported to Richmond by air," police said.
No suspect information nor additional details were available at last check.
