CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A person was killed crossing Jefferson Davis Highway, near Galena Avenue, in Chesterfield. Police responded to the 9600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at about 8:38 p.m on Friday.
"The driver of a 2014 Nissan Rouge was driving southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway when they struck a male pedestrian crossing the roadway," a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said. "The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene."
