RICHMOND, Va. -- All offices and courtrooms of the criminal and traffic division at John Marshall Courthouse, will be closed due to possible COVID-19 Exposure.
At the Downtown courthouse, Chief Judge Hicks signed a statement on Tuesday, stating the closure is to protect the health and safety of their employees and the general public.
CITY SERVICES CHANGE: The CRIMINAL and TRAFFIC divisions of the John Marshall Courthouse will be closed through August 4, according to an order by Judge Hicks. Operations in the Civil and Circuit Court divisions will proceed as usual. pic.twitter.com/a2V8TQywXu

All video arraignment and bond hearings are scheduled to happen at the Marsh Courthouse on Hull Street.
The city's magistrate has been instructed to schedule all of John Marshall's bond arraignments for the week of August 10,2020.
While the criminal and traffic division is closed , the circuit and civil court division will continue with its normal schedule.
The closure is expected to last until August 4th.
