RICHMOND, Va. -- A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer closed lanes on I-95 north near Arthur Ashe Boulevard in Richmond Friday afternoon.
VDOT officials said the interstate's center, left lane and left shoulder were closed as of just before 5 p.m.
As of 5:30 p.m., traffic was backed up nearly five miles.
"Use alternate routes and expect delays," VDOT officials said.
All lanes of the interstate had reopened as of 6:25 p.m.
