Man wanted for robbery at flea market in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield Police are looking for a man in connection to a robbery at the Jefferson Davis Flea Market in November.

Police have obtained warrants for 19-year-old Brandon T. Baskerville in relation to the November 28 incident.

Officers responded to the flea market, located 5700 Jefferson Davis Highway, for a reported robbery at about 3:15 p.m.

"On scene, police learned that an unknown male had entered the victim's stand and grabbed a black waist pack off the victim. The two struggled, but the suspect took the pack, which contained cash, and fled. The victim was not injured," said a Chesterfield Police spokesperson.

Police identified the suspect as Baskerville of the 7500 block of Silver Mist Avenue in Chesterfield. They obtained warrants for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection to the incident.

Detectives say they believe Baskerville may be staying with friends in Dinwiddie, Prince George, Chesterfield or Richmond.
