AMELIA COUNTY, Va. -- Police and sheriff’s deputies arrested William Taylor Hale Mottley for a weekend murder in Amelia County.
Mottley, 28, of Cumberland County, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning in Prince Edward County.
Mottley was charged with capital murder, robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection to the May 9 shooting death of 31-year-old Kaleb Ross Hart.
Hart was found Saturday night along the 11000 block of Genito Road near the Appomattox River.
