RICHMOND, Va. -- A man has been arrested in connection to a homicide at a hotel on Richmond's Northside last summer.
On June 2, officers were called to the Rodeway Inn on N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard near I-95 for a report of a person shot just before 1:45 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Jermaine Stroman lying in a third floor hallway suffering from a gunshot wound. The 30-year-old Chester man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Marquise McCormick was incarcerated in Chesterfield County on unrelated charges.
Last week, McCormick was charged with first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection to the homicide.
