King George motorcyclist dies after crashing into back of pickup near Dahlgren

KING GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — A 51-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday in a three-vehicle crash not far from Dahlgren, according to Virginia State Police.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Dahlgren Road when a 2019 Chevy Silverado pickup stopped for a car in front of it making a turn and a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 motorcycle ran into the back of the truck.

The motorcycle then crossed over into oncoming traffic and was hit by a 2022 Toyota Rav4 heading in the opposite direction, State Police said.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Angelo Isiah Farrer of King George, was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police said he was wearing a helmet.

This crash remains under investigation
