PETERSBURG, Va. -- Police are conducting a death investigation after a man's body was discovered inside a Petersburg apartment Saturday morning.
Officers were called to an apartment building in the 1600 block of South Sycamore Street around 7:30 a.m. after the body was found.

"At this time a death investigation is underway and is pending the results of the Medical Examiner," police said.
