HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Tajah Dye of Henrico County mysteriously disappeared from a Chesterfield restaurant about a month ago.
Her car hasn't been found, she hasn't contacted her parents, and she never picked up her paycheck.
Her dad suspects something bad has happened to her.
Dye turned 24 last Friday, but there was no call home, no activity on her bank card.
"There's some foul play here somewhere,” said her father, Lawrence Robinson. "It's not in her patterns, you know, she hasn't contacted us. She never showed for work and she didn't pick up her check."
Dye was last seen at Yamato Steakhouse on Hull Street Road in Chesterfield County and she was with a man. The family has worked with police to identify the man, but so far the leads have been nothing but dead ends.
It’s a frustrating process for a family that knows they're up against the clock.
"Somebody out there knows something,” said Robinson. “Just come forward and help. If you see him, call Henrico at 501-5000. Just need a location or an address and as Tajah's father, I'd appreciate that information.”
For Dye's family it has been a lot of work on social media and legwork posting flyers with her picture throughout Central Virginia.
Her father is offering a $1200 reward for Tajah's safe return.
Anyone with information about Dye should contact Henrico Police at 804-501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
