RICHMOND, Va. — HCA is working on a project to improve its cancer-fighting capabilities at its Bon Air hospital. The health system recently filed plans for an expansion and renovation project at Johnston-Willis Hospital to make way for a new linear accelerator, a machine that’s used to treat cancer by beaming radiation at cancerous tumors.
