Why Hanover rejected a plan for 1,500-acre solar facility along the North Anna River

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — It looks like a massive solar farm proposed on a 1,500-acre site in northwestern Hanover won’t see the light of day. County supervisors last week denied a zoning request for the project pitched by North Carolina-based Strata Clean Energy.
