HENRICO COUNTY, Va. --A Henrico firefighter suffered minor injuries when they fell from a bay door to the ground after fighting a fire in a large building in an industrial/warehouse complex on East Port Boulevard, off Charles City Road and Laburnum Avenue, Thursday night.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
"First fire unit arrived at 10:27 p.m. to find smoke in a large commercial building," a Henrico fire spokesperson wrote in an email. "The automatic fire sprinkler system had activated and the building was evacuated. Fire crews located the fire at 10:34 p.m. and had zero visibility in and around the warehouse."

The fire was marked under control by 10:50 p.m.
"Henrico Fire Marshal’s office is working with building occupant and fire personnel to determine the origin and cause of the fire," the email continued.
