NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. -- A search continued Monday for Cory Redford. The 37-year-old Henrico man disappeared in the Pamunkey River while swimming near his boat Saturday morning in New Kent.
"Persons on board the boat saw the man swept away by the current and threw a life ring. During an attempt to move the boat closer, persons on board lost sight of him and contacted authorities," an email from the Virginia Marine Police read. "The Virginia Marine Police will continue searching for Redford."
