CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating two robberies that happened at different Publix locations in Chesterfield County Monday evening.
Chesterfield Police say the Publix at 13700 Hull Street Road was robbed around 4:48 p.m.
The suspect entered the store, approached an employee and demanded money before fleeing out into the parking lot with the stolen money, according to police.
That suspect is described as a 40-year-old white male wearing a plaid button up shirt, gray puffy jacket and black face mask.
Later that night around 9:30 p.m., the Publix at 200 Charter Colony Parkway was also robbed by someone who entered and demanded money from an employee.
Police say the suspect was given the money and was last seen running into the parking lot.
That suspect is described as a Hispanic female, between 20 to 25-years-old, wearing a gray hooded jacket, blue pants, dark colored hat, and black face mask.
No one was injured during the incidents. At this time, it is unknown if the two robberies are connected.
