CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A fire that began in a firewood storage shed destroyed multiple acres of land in Chesterfield County on Monday.

The fire, which broke out in the 15900 block of Rowlett Drive, started in a shed being used to store fire wood.

Ashes then spread to the woods behind the shed, destroying about 3 acres.
