NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. -- Two King William residents were killed Tuesday morning on Farmers Drive (Route 273) in New Kent County, according to Virginia State Police.
Chakayla R. Spurlock, 20, was driving a 1999 Honda Civic that crossed the centerline and hit another car, according to police.
Spurlock and passenger Charles H. Fletcher III, 21, both died on the scene of the crash.
Neither driver nor passenger was wearing a seat belt, police said.
Two people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
