AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. — An Amber Alert has been canceled after three kids who were kidnapped while waiting for the school bus in Augusta County on Thursday morning were found safe.

The siblings, Jai'Marcus Lewis, 10, Ja'Miyah Lewis, 8, and Ja'Liyah Lewis, 6, were reported missing at 7:40 a.m., when they left for the bus stop at Bobby’s Way Apartment complex in Fishersville.

A black car reportedly pulled up to the bus stop when the children were taken. Police believed the children may have been with their biological mother, Shanice Chante Davison, 35, of Evergreen, Alabama.

The Augusta County Sheriff's Office said that based on evidence, they believed Davison was likely on the way to Alabama with the children. It's not clear where they were found.

The sheriff's office says a reverse 911 call was sent out within a five-mile radius of the apartments. The Amber Alert went out around 1:45 p.m.
