HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Four people were taken to the hospital after an ambulance overturned near the intersection of Parham and Brook roads in Henrico County at about 12:48 p.m.on Monday.
A CBS 6 viewer submitted a photo that appeared to show the ambulance on its side near the 7-Eleven.

"Officers determined that a sedan struck the AMR ambulance, causing the ambulance to overturn," a Henrico Police spokesperson said. "Four people were removed from the two vehicles and transported to area hospitals. The roads were opened at approximately 2:26 p.m., and traffic should not be affected any further."
The conditions of those in involved in the crash have not yet been released.
