RICHMOND, Va. -- A Richmond Police officer was arrested on Thursday for an incident that happened in Chesterfield County.
Officer Shwarlyn Arriola is charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer and misdemeanor obstruction.
He was hired by RPD on December 7, 2020.
He has been placed on leave without pay.
