RICHMOND, Va. -- The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a Richmond woman who has been reported missing since last month.

Family members of Amanda Hargrave, 31, last made contact with her on May 23. She was believed to have been residing in the 3100 block of Ellwood Avenue and has gone out of contact for five weeks, which her family says is uncharacteristic for Hargrave.

Hargrave is approximately 5-foot-9 and weighs about 105 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hargrave is asked to call Major Crimes detectives at (804) 646-6764 or contact Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.

This is a developing story, so anyone with more information can email newstips@wtvr.com to send a tip.
