HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police identified the woman killed on Interstate 295 early Monday as 39-year-old Jessica Agustin, of Glen Allen.
"At 2:49 a.m. on Monday, June 7, Virginia State Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-295 at the 43mm between the access road and the mainline," a Virginia State Police spokesperson wrote in an email. "The preliminary investigation reveals that a 2011 Kia Sorento ran off the road to the left and struck two trees."
Agustin was alone in the car and not wearing a seat belt, according to police.
