COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. -- Police arrested a Colonial Heights kindergarten teacher accused of having cocaine in her school classroom desk.

Cybil Billie, 46, was charged with felony possession of cocaine.

She was arrested Wednesday when the Lakeview Elementary School resource officer was contacted by a school administrator about a possible drug offense.

The officer spoke with Billie and found what was believed to be cocaine in her desk.

The teacher was jailed Wednesday night.

The school informed parents it was working to assign a new teacher to the classroom.
