3 displaced after Hanover house fire

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- Three people and two dogs are displaced from a Hanover County home that went up in flames Sunday evening.

Crews were called to a house in the 13000 block of Hill Club Lane at 6:55 p.m., according to Hanover Fire and EMS officials.

Flames were reported on the home's back porch, officials said, but photos from the scene appeared to show extensive fire, smoke and water damage.

The fire was marked under control at 7:05 p.m., according to firefighters.

No injuries were reported.

Officials said the fire marshal's office is investigating what sparked the fire.

No additional details were available at last check late Sunday, but officials said additional updates would be provided Monday morning.
