2-year-old missing, mom wanted for parental abduction in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are searching for a mother who is accused of abducting her two-year-old daughter.

Police say Erica Jones, 26, was last seen on July 16 in the 1100 block of Cypress Street when she picked up her daughter, Kamill Jones, from family members.

Erica Jones, who does not have legal custody of her daughter, was due to return Kamill to family members on July 18 but has not returned.

Police say they may still be in the area.

Jones is described as a black female, approximately 5’ 3” tall and 200 pounds pounds.
