RICHMOND, Va. -- The sounds of Latin jazz and salsa music won’t be heard in Byrd Park this summer but as they say, the show must go on.
The 13th annual Latin Jazz and Salsa Show Festival is going virtual with the same music and entertainment you’ve come to love.
Luis “Sweet Luis” Hildalgo with the Latin Jazz and Salsa Show said that the festival will still be a way to bring people together.
“Because of the Covid virus the world has had to change and we have changed with it and the festival is a way to bring people together," Hildalgo said.
Performers include Kevin Davis and Ban Caribe and other local artists as well as live performances from Florida with Latin sensation Melina La Muneca Dela Salsa featuring Tito Puente Jr, the son of the Mambo King Tinto Puente Sr.
