RICHMOND, Va. -- The Black History Museum teamed up with St. Paul's Baptist Church Saturday to host a voter registration drive as Tuesday’s deadline nears.

Organizers said they wanted to make sure people who are eligible to vote for the first time don't miss out.

“If you don't vote, you don't have a voice,” Greta Randolph with St. Paul’s Baptist Church said. “We think that your voice is very important, no matter what side of the fence you're on. We think it's important your voice is heard.”

The deadline to register to vote in the 2020 election is Tuesday, Oct. 13.
