Free COVID-19 testing canceled Tuesday due to Tropical Storm Isaias

UPDATE: The Richmond and Henrico Health Districts have canceled the free community testing event on Tuesday, August 4th, scheduled at Fairfield Middle School, due to inclement weather.

RICHMOND, Va. – Two COVID-19 community testing events have been scheduled for the week of August 3rd in the City of Richmond and Henrico County.

Tuesday, August 4th at Fairfield Middle School (Henrico)

Time: 9AM-11AM

Friday, August 7th at Hotchkiss Field Community Center (Richmond)
Address: 701 E Brookland Park Blvd, Richmond, VA 23222
Time: 9AM-11AM
Event will be held, rain or shine

The free testing is being offered for people who may not have insurance, or whose insurance does not cover COVID-19, who have COVID-19 symptoms, who are pregnant, are age 65 and older, or have underlying medical conditions.

Testing will be conducted by appointment to facilitate safety and social distancing.

To register for testing, call the Richmond and Henrico COVID-19 hotline at 804-205-3501, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (except holidays).

Walk up testing is available to persons who meet testing criteria, but is not guaranteed due to limited availability.

Individuals will be notified of their results in 5-7 business days. If notification is not received after 7 business days, call the Test Results Hotline at (804) 486-2107.
