PETERSBURG, Va. – A Petersburg boy celebrated his birthday Monday afternoon with a little help from Petersburg Police and Fire.
Turning 5-years-old is a big deal, but a pandemic can put a damper on birthday party plans.
So, a Petersburg mom asked for a little help from Petersburg Police and Fire to celebrate her son’s 5th birthday.
Complete with lights and sirens, Tony Wood got a life-long memory for his birthday Monday.
Police cars and fire trucks paraded down his street, even stopping to hand him a few special gifts.
Tony was thrilled and even gave out hugs to the police officers and firefighters as a way to say thank you.
Happy Birthday, Tony!
