Here's where to get a free COVID-19 test in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. -- Three COVID-19 community testing events have been scheduled for the week of November 9 in the City of Richmond.

Monday, November 9**
Eastern Henrico Health Department

**Drive Thru Event. Only 50 tests are available. Registration required.

Thursday, November 12

Friday, November 13**

The free testing is being offered for people who may not have insurance, or whose insurance does not cover COVID-19, who have COVID-19 symptoms, who are pregnant, are age 65 and older, or have underlying medical conditions.

Testing will be conducted by appointment to facilitate safety and social distancing.

To register for testing, call the Richmond and Henrico COVID-19 hotline at 804-205-3501, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (except holidays).

Walk up testing is available to persons who meet testing criteria, but is not guaranteed due to limited availability.

Individuals will be notified of their results in 5-7 business days. If notification is not received after 7 business days, call the Test Results Hotline at (804) 486-2107.
