RICHMOND, Va. -- While we have had some high temperatures above normal over the past few weeks, we didn't hit or break 70°.
That will change very soon!
Highs Sunday will touch or exceed 60° in many locations.
Highs on Monday are expected to reach the lower 70s across central Virginia.
We haven't had a high in the 70s at Richmond International Airport since it was 72° on February 4.
Tuesday may fail to reach 70° thanks to some clouds and the chance for a few showers.
A cold front will drop temperatures a bit Wednesday and Thursday, but we will be close again to 70° on Friday.
Another cold front will bring cooler weather next weekend with highs in the 50s to around 60°.
