The 2023 RVA Sports Awards are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Altria Theater.
Richmond is a region known for sports and in celebration of those who bring their best to the game and to the region, Richmond Region Tourism Foundation presented the first-ever RVA Sports Awards presented by Rosie's Gaming Emporium and Colonial Downs Racetrack on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022.
This area-wide awards show hosted by Tiki Barber recognized those athletes and leaders who have made a major impact on their community through sports. The show also included the national Power of Sport Award, which was awarded to an individual who is creating significant societal impact through sports.
