RICHMOND, Va. -- Packet pick-up is underway for the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K presented by Kroger this weekend.

The race will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday from dawn to dusk at four course locations across Richmond so folks can take part on a "measured, marked course in a socially-distanced manner," according to Sports Backers.

The locations are at Byrd Park in Richmond, Henricus Historical Park in Chesterfield, and Deep Run Park and Dorey Park in Henrico County. Additionally, there is also a virtual option for people who want to participate remotely. [Click here for course maps.]

Participants taking part virtually have until Sept. 30 to complete their race using the RaceJoy app or by uploading results hereto have an official finisher time and be added to the event leaderboard.

The event is still offering a Dress Up & Run Contest for participants who want to suit up in costume and celebrate one of the most popular parts of the 10k.

To show off your costume on your run or walk, take a photo and upload it on our contest form [tfaforms.com], tag @sportsbackers on Instagram or use the #10kDressUp to enter.

Winners, which will be selected based off creativity, originality, craftsmanship, enthusiasm and theme, will be announced Tuesday.

Packet pick-up kicked off Thursday at 4 p.m. and continues Friday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. with the outdoor Health & Fitness Expo/Packet Pick-Up in the parking lots at the Diamond.

Masks are required, and packets will be pre-assembled for a one-way touchless experience.
