RICHMOND, Va. -- August is Minority Donor Awareness Month and UNOS – United Network for Organ Sharing is hoping to get the message to communities through volunteers.
Comedian CJ Richardson is a Kidney Transplant recipient and finds time to speak about becoming an organ donor as often as he can.
Richardson said he’s grateful to his donor, but would like more African Americans to learn more UNOS and organ donation and transplantation, and then become organ donors.
