RICHMOND, Va. -- This year's Garden Glow event at Maymont, the 100-acre Richmond Victorian country estate, includes an array of artistic light displays in new locations around the park.
For the past two years, Garden Glow has been in the Japanese garden but this year it's been moved up to include the mansion and the historic buildings.
"People will experience Maymont at night," said Peggy Singlemann with Maymont's Park Operations and Horticulture. "And they’ll be experiencing trees being lit in various colors, they’ll be experiencing patterns of lights on the historic buildings."
There will also be an interactive lighting game where guests will control with their feet as well as easier paths for guests with mobility challenges.
Garden Glow is Friday, Oct. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 10 p.m.
