PETERSBURG, Va. -- Petersburg Preservation's annual Historic All Hallows Eve walking tours will take place Saturday at Blandford Cemetery from 6 to 10 p.m.
"The focus of the hour-long guided tours will be the history of the cemetery, the symbolism and sentiment found on tombstones and the accounts of some of the city's most interesting permanent residents," organizers said.
Because of COVID-19 pandemic, participants must wear face coverings and stay with the group tour. (NOTE: Halloween-type masks are not acceptable.)
Organizers said the shuttle bus will be disinfected between tour groups.
Admission is $15 and tours will begin every 20 minutes starting at 6 p.m.
Parking is at District 19 in Old Towne. Folks will board a shuttle bus to the Reception Center at the cemetery, organizers said.
