GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- Innsbrook is known for its popular Pumpkin Palooza, but COVID-19 caused the Innsbrook Foundation to come up with an safe alternative Halloween event for its hundreds of guests.
The foundation came up with Hallow-Drive, a zany new way to enjoy the spooky season with a festive vehicle parade around Innsbrook.
Participants are asked to decorate their cars and wear Halloween costumes for a “frightfully fantastic tour around Innsbrook” to show off your creative ideas.
Hallow-Drive starts at 4600 Cox Road at 4pm and ends at the Silver Diner restaurant at 10890 W. Broad Street.
At the end of the parade, participants can take Halloween pictures and kids can receive free treat bags with individually-wrapped goodies. And if dinner is ordered from Silver Diner -- folks can score a free sundae. There will also be a grand prize for the best decorated car.
This free event is open to the public, but registration is suggested in order to make sure there are enough treats to hand out.
