RICHMOND, Va. – Community activist and Radio One Richmond Personality Clovia Lawrence is usually preparing for the annual Send A Kid to Camp Radio-thon, but because of the COVID-19 shutdown, she is focusing her energy on “Send a Mask” to non-essentials and the community.
Gifted with supplies from sponsors like True Medical Transport, LLC, Radio One Richmond, and Project Give-Back, Lawrence and volunteers are giving out masks, gloves and hand sanitizer.
Her group, Project Give-Back, is also asking the community to support them with $5 donations via cashAPP to $truemedica.
The donations will continue to support underserved communities in the Richmond metro area.
