NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. -- The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, a home serving a variety of programs for youth in crisis, is hoping continue its fundraising efforts with its annual golf tournament.

This year, because of COVID-19, the tournament will take place over a two week period rather than a one day event allowing players a chance to golf safely.

The Club at Viniterra in New Kent will only allow one golfer per golf cart as they tee off allowing for safer playing without physical interaction with another golfer.

There is also a silent auction now open online for players and the public to support VHBG.

Prizes include autograph pictures of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, trips, sports memorabilia, women’s purses and other items.

The annual Virginia Home for Boys and Girls Golf Tournament is August 7 through August 21. Players can register online.
