    Richmond, VA – Kyle Lauletta is one step closer to realizing his dream.  The former Richmond Spiders standout quarterback was drafted by the New York Giants in the fourth round of this year’s NFL Draft.  He is the highest Spider drafted in 36 years and the first Richmond player to be selected since 2013.     In Saturday’s Feel Good Edition of CBS 6 Sports: Kyle Busch won his third straight in the Cup series by taking the checkered flag at Richmond Raceway.  It’s his fifth career Cup win at the Action Track.  Chesterfield’s Denny Hamlin finished third.     In Tuesday’s Sportscast: Richmond women’s golfer Elsa Diaz has gained a sponsor’s exemption to compete at this year’s Kingsmill Championship in Williamsburg, VA. The Flying Squirrels won their fifth in a row after they beat Bowie 1-0.  At 9-3, the Squirrels are off to their best start in franchise history. Former John Marshall standout Jason Williford has been promoted to associate Head Coach on Tony Bennett’s staff at UVA.

    Virginia Beach, VA – The winningest coach in Virginia Tech history is in the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.  Frank Beamer, who led the Hokies to 238 wins and 23 straight bowl appearances, was officially inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame at the Sandler Center.
