DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. – A third suspect has been arrested and charged in the murder of a man found in a Dinwiddie County ditch last week.
Nicholas Allan Kirchner, 32, of Petersburg, VA was arrested on Sunday, May 24 and charged with second-degree murder in the death of 23-year-old Zackary Elan Scott.
Kirchner is being held without bond in Meherrin River Regional Jail, pending arraignment in Dinwiddie County General District Court.
The arrest of Kirchner comes after two arrests last week.
Ryan Wayne Jones, 26, of Hopewell, and Darius Javonte Holmes, 27, of Petersburg, were previously arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
