Suspect arrested in Richmond double shooting that left 1 critically injured

RICHMOND, Va. -- A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Richmond's Oakwood neighborhood on Thanksgiving night.

Police responded to the 3500 block of Briel Street where two people had been shot around 6:30 p.m.

A man was found suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound and Reginald V. Walker, 32, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. During the investigation, detectives determined that Walker shot the victim.

Walker was charged with attempted murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony

Detectives are currently investigating at this time.
