Police seek Richmond man in connection to crash that injured two

CHESTERFIELD, Va. --- Chesterfield Police are looking for a Richmond man in connection to a crash that left two people injured.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday morning, police say a black BMW was traveling west on the 4500 block of Iron Bridge Road when it left the roadway, overturned multiple times and fell down an embankment.

Two men were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

On Monday, police obtained warrants for the vehicle's driver, Abdul-Malik Lawton, 37, of the 2300 block of Marion Mashore Street in Richmond.

The warrants include DUI – 2nd offense with an elevated BAC, and DUI maiming and driving on a revoked license.
