PETERSBURG, Va. -- A man is in the hospital after being shot in the buttocks in Petersburg Monday night, according to Crime Insider Sources.'
Around 7 p.m, police responded to a local hospital for a person that was shot and arrived by a personally owned vehicle.
Detectives believe the shooting occurred around St. Mark Street and Chestnut Street.
Police currently have 2 city blocks roped off with crime tape.
