Hit-and-run driver hits Prince George school bus

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating a school bus crash in Prince George County, Virginia.

Shortly after 3:20 p.m., Monday, police responded to a hit and run crash involving a school bus at the intersection of Prince George Dr. and South Crated Rd.

A black Acura Integra with primer paint struck the front bumper of a Prince George County school bus.

Immediately after the collision, the driver of the  Acura pulled off to the side of the roadway, detached their rear bumper,  and removed the license plate from their car before fleeing the scene.

The driver is described as a white female.

There were 25 students traveling on the school bus, all in 6th through 12th grade. No injuries were reported on scene.

Emergency workers were still assessing the situation.
