2 ‘suspicious deaths’ on same Henrico road ruled homicides

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Two "suspicious death" investigations underway in Henrico have been ruled homicides, according to Henrico Police. Both happened along North Laburnum Avenue.

"Henrico County Police Division is currently investigating a suspicious death in the 300 block of N. Laburnum Avenue and a suspicious death in the 500 block of N. Laburnum Avenue," Henrico Police Lt. Rachel Heinig said.

The victim in the 500 block of N. Laburnum Avenue homicide was identified as Ralph Haskins, Jr., 43, of Henrico. The second victim's name has not yet been released, pending next of kin notification.

"There is no information at this time to support that these two investigations are related," Henrico Police spokesperson Lt. Lauren Hummel said.
